Daniel 2: Roman Empire land
area divides into Western Division and Eastern Division
Daniel 2:41
41 And whereas thou sawest the feet and toes, part of potters' clay, and part
of iron, the kingdom shall be divided; but there shall be in it of the strength of the
iron, forasmuch as thou sawest the iron mixed with miry clay.

The two legs of iron just like the two arms of silver show duality in the kingdom. In the second kingdom it was the Persians and the Medes which we studied earlier. Now the image is telling the Roman Empire would split into two. Secular history records this split very clearly when the Roman Empire was divided into two divisions. The 'Eastern Division' with Constantinople as the capitol, and the 'Western Division' with Rome as it's capitol. |
